We are looking for IBM Tivoli Netcool applications engineer.
Sr. Engineer will need to have comprehensive knowledge on NetCool 3-tier architecture,NetCool Rules Development for various network devices (mostly using SNMP as alarming protocol), knowledge in SNMP v1, v2c and v3 structure and be able to translate SNMP MIB sets and convert them into NetCool rule set.
Capable of utilizing NetCool Knowledge library if it exists, perform testing on rule sets with sample data, MIB sets etc.
You should have extensive knowledge on NetCool SSM Agent configuration and corresponding rules in Probe servers
You will be expected to know how to set up new Object server and probe server grounds up. Also expected to know Netcool Impact policies, how to develop gateways to integrate Netcool with third party tools, knowledge in Webtop, TIP administration etc.
B.S. or M.S. in CS required. CCNA a plus.
